We’ve had virtue-signalling, now we have virtue-militarism — a bombing campaign that is not about solving anything, but rather is about showing how “good” the West is. Gesture militarism for which Syrians will pay a terrible price as the war in their nation is intensified. #Syria
@PoliteFjow@thetolerantman In a way, I suppose, yes. I just thought to point out the technical difference, since there is one. I know the terms are largely interchangeable, with weeb being more prominent outside Japan and otaku within.
@1984Danger They'll end up getting their way in the end. They always do. World wars. Goyim killing each other en masse... some probably get sexual gratification out of it and all.
MSM journalist saying that @thetimes is planning a hit piece on @VanessaBeeley for reporting the truth Syria & White Helmets & fabricated / misleading chem attacks. @guardian first in state stooge queue to attack alternative media & free speech now appears @thetimes in the game
@ChristineBohan@amcteirnan If they want to build mosques then why don't they go and live in Saudi Arabia where there is mosques galore. Who do you think is funding these mosques? SAUDI ARABIA. It's been proven time and again to b the case in UK. Wahhabi Mosques indoctrinating Muslims to Jihad.
@PoliteFjow@thetolerantman A weeb is a non-Japanese who fetishizes Japanese stuff like anime/manga etc. An otaku is what the Japanese call other Japanese who are fanatics of anime/manga. That's my understanding of it.
@JesterNrx I'd say much more of ancient Polytheistic/Pagan Ireland was actually destroyed under Christian iconoclasm once it was brought to this isle than liberalism. I could be wrong who knows. Either way, interesting topic.
@tsllawnokrowi@thetolerantman It seems to be the trend globally, with America and Europe being the epicenters of this spread. They want everyone to be rootless consumers and moveable economic units.
@gt_carter@thetolerantman I can only go off what people are saying, and that supposed Japanese reader is claiming it is in fact liberalism. I've never been to Japan, speak Japanese or know much of anything about the place and people so I can only go from peoples anecdotes.
