A legacy of generosity.

Reflecting on the noble character of the Promised Messiah (as), Beloved Huzoor (aba) said:

"Complying with the commands of Allah the Almighty and following the example of the Holy Prophet (sa), we also find many incidents in the life of the Promised Messiah (as) of caring for the poor and of his generosity and munificence. These are found not only after his claim. Rather, even during the early years of his life and in his youth, we find incidents of his excellent moral qualities.

Furthermore, even when we look at the life of the mother, under whose care Allah the Almighty nurtured him, we find incidents of caring for the poor and of her generosity and munificence. In other words, he was raised by a mother who also taught him excellent morals. As such, whereas Allah the Almighty Himself instilled virtue in the nature of the Promised Messiah (as), he was also provided with a pious environment by his mother."

حضرت خلیفۃ المسیح الثالث رحمہ اللہ فرماتے ہیں:

”میں آپ میں سے آپ کی طرح کا ہی ایک انسان ہوں اور آپ میں سے ہر ایک کے لیے اللہ تعالیٰ نے میرے دل میں اتنا پیار پیدا کیا ہے کہ آپ لوگ اس کا اندازہ بھی نہیں کر سکتے۔ بعض دفعہ سجدہ میں میں جماعت کے لیے اور جماعت کے افراد کے لیے دعا کرتا ہوں کہ اے خدا! جن لوگوں نے مجھے خطوط لکھے ہیں ان کی مرادیں پوری کر دے، اے خدا! جو مجھے خط لکھنا چاہتےتے تھے لیکن کسی سستی کی وجہ سے نہیں لکھ سکے ان کی مرادیں بھی پوری کر دے۔اے خدا جنہوں نے مجھے خط نہیں لکھا اور نہ انہیں خیال آیا ہے کہ دعا کے لیے لکھیں اگر انہیں کوئی تکلیف ہے یا ان کی کوئی حاجت اور ضرورت ہے تو ان کی تکلیف کو بھی دور کر دے اور حاجتیں بھی پوری کر دے۔“
