@austin_rief The core of traditional media outlets has always relied on diverse offerings: recipes, sport scores, reviews, crosswords, comics. NYT is as known for Style and Modern Love (sometimes inspiring films) as its investigative news. Local news cutbacks ignored this basic principle.
