Did you ever hold, or do you currently hold, Canadian and/or Rwandan citizenship?
If you previously held another citizenship and have since renounced it in order to qualify for ministerial office, then the matter is straightforward: provide Parliament with documentary proof of the renunciation or cancellation.

There is no need to impute motives, allege hatred, or raise the political temperature over what is essentially a factual question. Public office carries public accountability, and questions about eligibility are legitimately answered with evidence. #UgandaGovernedByLaw

Will you advocate for it before or after you become familiar with international safety standards for ultra marathons? From health facilities, refreshment station logistics, road closures etc? Do we know why EVERY marathon in the world has a cap on numbers? Do runners themselves want congested, oversubscribed races where emergency vehicles, cut off busses etc cannot access them? And where risks of a stampede are high?

Previously, when the cap was increased, many runners missed out on a medal because it took a while to cross the first mat as their seeding kept them at the back. In 2010 when the numbers were increased, 17 000 runners participated and 14 000 finished. What are the statistics today and what is the data driven justification for wanting to increase the field? We cannot have politicians interfering in every sector of life because their "Minister" title gives them authority. Are you certain that making an ultra marathon bloated comes with no safety risks?

Many of us miss entry deadlines and put our names forward for substitution. Sometimes we succeed, sometimes we don't. Be in "total agreement" AFTER doing the homework. Please.

BEHIND THE SCENES

DR. David Ndawula of KAMPALA FAMILY CLINICS has joined @RwenzoriMarathn as the lead the doctor at the marathon.

RWENZORI MARATHON sent Dr. David Ndawula to Madrid, Spain for training by World athletics federation since we have now become a world label marathon.

The practical training had 3 doctors from Africa, Uganda, Nigeria and Morocco plus many from other countries outside Africa.

We are going to have lots of Ugandans heading out for trainings by world athletics federation because we are aiming at gold now in the next 4 years God willing.

Doctor Ndawula will also be training some young Ugandan doctors for continuity purposes. It’s a very specialized training that he went for.

I will go for training by world athletics federation in September in France as a team leader God willing.

2 very big news to break very soon God willing, am also shocked about what God can do through people!
