Dolly was born in East Tennessee and used her success to make it better. So much money from her attractions and fame came into our mountain communities and was put into schools and infrastructure. She made the Imagination Library to help childhood literacy in Appalachia. Every month since our daughter was born, the library has sent her a book with a note from Dolly encouraging her to be proud of where she’s from and to learn the importance of the stories that built us. Her husband passed last year and she spoke of being reunited with him. I’m glad heaven is a little sweeter, and sings a little better for it. Rest in peace to the Queen of Appalachia, Jolene could never.

Last year Cooper was diagnosed with cutaneous lymphoma, a rare and aggressive form of cancer.

In typical Coop fashion, not even cancer could get him down. He was happy and full of life, beating every estimate and conquering odds up until the very end.

There's a hole in my heart that will never be filled. Have really loved reading all the comments on YT/IG today, amazing how many lives he touched and how much joy he brought not only our family but the world.

Client was pulled over because his rental car plate didn't provide a return when a crooked cop ran the plate for no reason. Within 7 minutes, Enterprise confirmed it was valid. Cop decided he was gonna violate Rodriguez and hold my client until drug dog showed up. Dog did two laps, no hit third lap, handler motioned for the dog to respond to justify a search. Client held over two hours in handcuffs while they went through his stuff. Found nothing, of course, because dogs are wrong 75% of the time. Just got him a $25,000 payday for those 2.5 hours. Lesson learned Montgomery, Texas?!
