I make round and oval Paper mache animals from horses to dragons. I’m hoping to start illustrating children’s books one day, I’m writing one too!

This is the best ceramic sculpture I’ve ever made, it’s a stylised model of a breed of heavy horse called a Suffolk Punch. I have exhibited this horse in 2012, 2014 and 2018, he’s extremely heavy which is why I now make paper mache sculptures. #horse #artist #sculpture

Paul Spooner will be visiting us at the Mechanical Making Space this week to sign the English Spring figures. But first we need to prepare a nice painted surface on the bases for him. We’ve cut some nice sticky templates to make a super neat circle. Just 92 more to do…!
