I saw a video on TikTok that talked about the importance of recognizing bids in your relationship and leaning in when they arise.
For example, your partner getting excited about something and wanting to share it with you, and the importance of acknowledging them/connecting.
when someone is emotionally unresponsive to the needs you have communicated… don’t invest more energy and keep trying harder. call your energy back to make the connection less anxious. take time for yourself and gently move on to what is for you.
Reparenting is the practice of giving yourself what the younger version of you didn't have.
It helps us heal from our past, regardless of what we've been through in childhood.
