Everytime I see someone shout ableism at something and then it turns out it's wasn't that deep actually makes me mad. Like can we actually learn definitions before we toss terms like that around please?
Sincerely, someone who knows what actually ableism can look like 😒
@kijo_vt Remember kiddos: if someone is giving odd sounding advice dig into their credentials. See if they walk the talk so to speak.
9 times outta 10 that bad advisor turns out to be a yapper and nothing more 🥸
((Also I’m jelly of all the nice premade nowadays haha xD))
Like oh no, there’s Vtubers who are lewd or just aren’t kid friendly and don’t want kiddos in their audiences even tho they look cool. Big freaking woop.
The Vtuber community is BIG. There’s literally a Vtuber for everyone. Don’t barge in where you’re not wanted please. 🙏
“I’m a NICE person!”
"LISTEN I'm so KIND!"
"Can't you tell I'm SUCH a GOOD person?"
Then just be nice.
Be kind.
Be a good person.
Why are we hearing about it?
Just DO the thing instead of yapping about it.
Instant red flag if you yap kindness more than just doing it. 🛑
@AerlyaGraphics I feel like this is either something you'd rant about to your other artist friends in a circle or something...or simply some inside thoughts that had no where to go.
Either way...if I was a past client I would have all sorts of anxiety now 🙃
Ok now they’re guilt tripping showing their self harm app and how they’ve relapsed because of all this. An issue THEY caused???
Yeah no fuck this person in particular. Do better.
I'm so sick and tired of Autism being used as a crutch to excuse bad behavior.
Yes it can explain WHY you did/said things but if you hurt someone then it doesn't make the HURT go away. You can and SHOULD still apologize and learn from it.
Remember: autism affects everyone differently.
Adapting and learning social cues over time is an important part of personal growth. It'll look different for everyone. But this also includes knowing when to apologize for harm caused.
