$ORCL Larry is a gambler who has won for forty-five years and can no longer distinguish between luck and skill.
But there’s one iron rule of the casino he never believes:
No matter how great a gambler is, as long as they refuse to leave the table, one day they will lose everything they’ve won—principal and interest alike. The years 2026-2027 will be the showdown moment after his final all-in.
Either he builds a new empire, or he loses the legendary forty-five years in one fell swoop.
There’s no third path. His most classic statement was actually made back in 2003:
“You can either be the consolidator, or be consolidated.”
Now it’s his turn:
Either he consolidates the AI era, or he gets consolidated by it. The gambler’s fate has never been about how much they win, but whether they dare to bet their last bullet.
Larry dares.
So he will inevitably lose it all one day.
Stock crash in 2026.
Cash flow struggles in 2027.
Empire collapse in 2030.

ROCKET POWER: Elon Musk’s wealth skyrocketed from $24.6 billion in March 2020 to $500 billion, putting him about $150 billion ahead of the world’s second-richest person, Oracle co-founder Larry Ellison. Musk could become the world’s first trillionaire by 2033.
President Donald Trump said the United States will send Iran "back to the Stone Ages" during a prime-time address from the White House on Wednesday.
"We are going to hit them extremely hard over the next two to three weeks," he said. "We are going to bring them back to the Stone Ages, where they belong."
During the address, Trump said he’s following through on a campaign promise to keep Iran from accessing nuclear weapons. He also said the mission was "nearing completion" and that discussions with Iran are ongoing.
“Our objectives are very simple and clear: We are systematically dismantling the regime's ability to threaten America or project power outside of their borders,” he said. “That means eliminating Iran's navy, which is now absolutely destroyed, hurting the air force and their missile program at levels never seen before and annihilating their defense industrial base.”
Polls show that majorities of Americans oppose military action in Iran, and also oppose U.S. troops on the ground there.
The speech marks the first time Trump has addressed the nation in prime time since the U.S. and Israel launched the war against Iran more than a month ago.

@RayDalio
Mr. Dalio, you clearly frame path a (securing Hormuz + neutralizing Iran's nuclear) as continued hegemony, and path b as credibility collapse. Maintaining US hegemony has become badly imbalanced: global benefits no longer cover the rising costs, with chronic fiscal deficits, rigid welfare spending, and aging demographics. This imbalance is precisely why war is being chosen as a forced reset.
Even in path b, the US could still achieve a soft landing rather than collapse: by pragmatically dealing with China, accepting relative decline, and using external pressures to finally burst domestic bubbles and reform entitlements. Many historical powers renewed themselves after accepting limits instead of overextending. Do you see any will or capacity in the US for such a pragmatic pivot?
Elon Musk on AI during the OpenAI trial:
"It (AI) could make us more prosperous, but it could also kill us all. We want to be in a Gene Roddenberry movie, like Star Trek, not so much a James Cameron movie, like Terminator.
He then elaborated by comparing AI training to almost like raising a child:
"It’s like if you had a very smart child — at the end of the day when the child grows up, you can’t really control that child, but you can try to instill the right values. Honesty, integrity, caring about humanity —being good, essentially."

🇺🇸🇨🇳 U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio:
What we wanna do is prevent a war from China by being strong enough to make them understand they can never win a war against the U.S.
A war against China would be a terrible thing.
