@ThomasICarrier@GeoffMiami@JoeBiden@realDonaldTrump It hasn't been tried in the US in my lifetime. The left is divided into camps that only consider outside strategy and camps that only consider inside strategy. Each side postures as if they have all the answers, and we never develop a complementary inside-outside strategy.
@AlvadisTveburg Depends what we mean. Putting skin color aside, whiteness can mean an identification with power. It's not a bad thing to destabilize people's identification with power.
@ThomasICarrier@GeoffMiami@JoeBiden@realDonaldTrump Re-electing Trump guarantees nothing except the further consolidation of power by the criminal syndicates surrounding him.
We should take a shot in 2024 regardless of who wins. We have to be ready to take power every year in any way we can, not just presidential elections.
@TheWayThingsAr1 True, so voting for Biden shouldn't be something that is done blindly. On the other hand, organizing and fighting under a corrupt neoliberal administration is more advantageous than organizing and fighting neoliberalism's apparent natural successor: rule of criminal syndicates.
U know, I wouldn’t call myself like a vaush stan or whatever (I’m not too aware of him or his work), but seeing stuff like this just ends up makin me crave his blunt direct approach lol. Like, what are u mad abt, pls,, just tell me. Is it that he’s rude and ppl like it?
Excuse me Miss Woke Milano, but my wife and I would also like to exercise our rights as American Citizens by casting our vote for our preferred candidate. I mean, if that's okay with you and Whoopi. Thanks.
Postal workers, Amazon workers, teachers, Black Americans, & others on the front lines of this crisis have given more money to Bernie than any candidate bc they have the AUDACITY to want healthcare coverage.
We're facing a pandemic & 30% unemployment.
Consider your privilege.
Sen. @BernieSanders responds to critics of his push for Medicare-for all amid coronavirus pandemic.
“Should we put politics aside and all come together? Of course we should,” he says, adding “in coming together,” we have to “guarantee health care to all.” https://t.co/3KIuxmVGhR
Last night, Bernie Sanders doggedly fought to include benefits to laid off workers in the Senate stimulus bill and he won.
But he "can't get anything done."
Imagine if @BernieSanders' vision for America was real now.
Coronavirus testing & treatment would be free.
Pharma companies wouldn't be price-gouging potential COVID drugs
We'd have more nurses/doctors because college student debt wouldn't make med/nursing school inaccessible.
@JimmyA_Shook1s Does this sound like praising Obama? (It's not.):
Obama, who bungled the early response to the Syrian civil war, made the right decision not to enforce his red line in Syria.
