Trying best to realize each day I’m living Christ’s life, Husband, Dad, Guitar Player, obviously I read Merton, I love Michigan football, love to research
@_ZachShaw Well, Deion is just another guy with Narcissistic Personality Disorder with an ego the size of Russia.
He’s not much different than your average mega church pastor
@xophermc I think he realizes that in his weakness, Christ’s strength lives powerfully within, which I think he would agree is our true, ego-less nature. Power in weakness, just as Christ portrayed.
Also, Paul preached this.
@PixelMoonbeams @orthometalhead Or, “how dare you blaspheme the GREAT SUCCESS of Adam’s sin!”
Anyone actively preaching against the restoration of all things is a dying, cornered, wounded animal clinging to their western mindset, which is currently being thrown in the Lake of Fire. It is their “precious”.
@InuConquistador @orthometalhead @Tawadros15 They are reading the text as it is and respecting the historical tradition of what the early church fathers taught, also what Paul taught, which was the restoration of all things. ALL THINGS. It’s not that complicated.
You however can’t get past that they are liberals.
@Tawadros15 @orthometalhead Unitarian Universalist are quite literally nothing like the actual Christian universalists of early church (out of which 4/6 major theological schools thag existsed all taught the apokatastasis (restoration of all things) or, UNIVERSALISM.
Unitarian Universalism is paganism.
@orthometalhead Hey Kevin of Maryland,
You’re wrong about quite literally all that you said, and you base this completely off of your western evangelical mindset, thag has shaped all you think you know.
Especially the whole “universalism is progressive” part. Not even close.
@diosMios79@JohnsonHea19235 Ahhhhh….i feel so dumb and am going to delete lol
My bad.
And this is why we have a million different Bible translations, because dummies like me.
@CompletedStreet Well, I mean, people prefer to drive cars as opposed to a railway they will never use…..and this is the vast majority of people. So…yeah.
@James170177893@jackmac College fanbases are mixed alumni and small town people who have generations of cheering for the same team.
Remember, college football preceded the NFL by at least about 50 years, and was quite a bit more popular probably until the 50’s.
It’s sort of a new money vs old money
@James170177893@jackmac I’m fine with big business if they orchestrate a decent playoff system.
I’m just saying the fanbases of college football are better as a whole.
Tuscaloosa & Ann Arbor can fill up 100,000 seat stadiums with expensive tickets but every NFL stadium is around 60,000 in big cities
