@memcculloch Terra incognita, then.
If mass itself is relational, might we radically say
m = m(r, rₕ) perhaps even
m(r) = c²r² / 2Grₕ ?
Not claiming this follows from QI, but is it that quanta :: horizons points toward mass itself as a scale :: horizon relation?
Still QI, or another terra?
@memcculloch Did we reify mass just like O. Barfield thought modern consciousness reified appearances: treating as isolated what actually exists only within "participation"? If 𝑚 = 𝑚(𝑟, 𝑟ₕ), nothing has its mass alone. The local has “weight” only in relation to the horizon. Wisdom 11:20
@memcculloch Perhaps matter does not have mass by itself. Perhaps it has mass because it is in communion. “Where two or three quanta are gathered together, there is inertia in the midst of them.”
@johnmilbank3@henryjkwallis It has long been lurking in this land. I foolishly thought I could evade it by leaving the South. But, no. It has metastasized.
@Livng_Church “Is decorating a tree for Christmas becoming a prideful display of color and light, the very thing that makes baby Jesus weep? Maybe it’s time to be a curmudgeon. #TheLividChurch#NewPuritans#jejune”
@BishopBarron “Of what I think still a Christian church…”??? This is irresponsible. I’ve respected your ministry for many years. By all means be an appalled cultural despiser of pastoral choices for a funeral. But shame on you for that backhanded misinformation that we aren’t Christian!
