@JoshInspiration@DerronEShort Amen amen! As a celibate woman this still holds true. I have a more deep and meaningful relationship with my Spiritual Father because of the honesty we have than in any sinful or dishonest relationship. Same with my best friends. We are completely honest and open with each other
@GingerLGriffin @DerronEShort I don’t agree. I’ve bought my Priest flowers once after he came home from holiday. They were orange. He means so much to me he’s my Spiritual Dad and has shown me what a Father’s love is. He understood and appreciated the gesture :)
@DerronEShort If he likes them yes. If not, no. When my Spiritual Father came back from holiday I brought him orange roses and lilies. He was very touched. That’s the only time I’ve bought flowers for a man. I’ve brought flowers to the Church many times and let him decide what’s done with ‘em
@Tezo70Wallace@DerronEShort Same with friends, Spiritual relationships, your Director, family, boss etc. If the person is reasonable they’ll hear you out and perhaps you’ll both understand each other more and grow as a result
@DMRX03@DerronEShort Absolutely right! That’s how I treat my relationship with my Spiritual Father. I tell him the truth, even when it’s hard, and this honestly and faithfulness has led to fruit by the Grace of God. He is a wonderful Father and a very compassionate Priest, my Wise Owl and confidant
@PeakCatholic @TaylorRMarshall The prostrating is a beautiful act of humility. I’ve seen people do it and it moves my soul so deeply. It’s veru evangelising and silently speaks the truth of the Holiness of God
The prospect of not being able to leave the house or receive the Sacraments is deeply troubling to me. If this is what needs to happen God strengthen me, as my Mental Health is built upon the Sacraments, diet, and exercise regiment
Laying in bed holding my Crucifix and still wishing my Church doors were open.
If you can take some time to ask St. Dymphna to pray for those of us who struggle with their mental health.
@DarrenJamesPur1 @FrHilderbrand One should only take up the Discipline after much prayer and discernment, and consultation with your Spiritual Director. It’s a very dangerous practice for those who aren’t called and can lead to all sorts of sins. If you’re called to do it though, do it under Obedience.
For everyone who does not know, This is a Beautiful 9 week old unborn baby! Dr. Bernard Nathanson, the ex-abortionist said, "Fewer women would have abortions if wombs had windows.”

@AprilSixsmith I find it deeply encouraging when you talk about him. I’m happy to know someone else who understands Spiritual Daughtership, and it delights my soul as I have such a Devotion to the Sacerdotal Dignity to see a Priest, who is Alter Christus - another Christ - so honoured and loved
@PELawson1 No that’s cute and adorable. Getting a man flowers isn’t ridiculous at all!!! When my Father came home from holiday I got him orange roses and cream lilies
Yesterday we entered the Delay phase of our #COVID_19uk Action Plan. @UKScienceChief explained why this is important.
It allows us to #FlattenTheCurve, which means reducing the impact in the short-term to ensure our health & care system can effectively protect vulnerable people
