A Measure of Love
We are meant to be proud of our faith, and to hold the love we have for God to a different standard; loving Him more than all other things, even when our feelings are hurt and we’re facing challenges.
Make A Connection
God has put us in places and situations where we can connect with Him. We mustn’t ration our Christianity, but rather connect to God, the source of all we need, and we will never run out.
Building Spiritual Muscle
Building spiritual muscle is not easy and often involves doing things that might hurt.
But every action is building and forming your spiritual life to make you stronger and more secure in Christ, who lifted the heaviest weight of all.
A Little Much
When the little we have is continuously placed in the hands of God, it can become much.
God is able to do far more with what we have than we could ever imagine!
Can You See?
As Christians, we have an advantage - the Holy Spirit. We need to be able to be sensitive to the voice of God if we want to walk through life well.
Stronger Together!
Building a circle with people who are strong when you are weak, who have a word and a prayer when you don’t, and who know scriptures you don’t know yet, makes for a strong body! Get into a circle, be a part of the body!
Lighter Load, Better Plans
Leaving behind some of our own plans, ambitions and expectations, and trusting God with them will lead us to an even bigger life and a better plan in the hands of God.
Active Worship
Worship is not a passive thing. We are called to be active participants in worship, and not just observers.
so lift up holy hands and raise your voice in song!
Worship is our Instructor
Worship reminds us to be grateful for the gift of being called the children of the living God.
We use worship to instruct our naturally sinful hearts to be grateful for this gift.
The Good Shepherd
God wants to take you from where you have been and lead you to green pastures and still waters. When the the time is right, God will lead you there because He is The Good Shepherd.
Don’t Lose Hope
Hope is the promise of something better, but it requires something of us.
We need to take action and even be inconvenienced for hope’s sake! Hopelessness on the other hand, requires us to sit idly; doing nothing.
Silent No More
We should carry the name of Jesus Christ in all that we do. We cannot continue to sit silently at the back of the room, we need to be proud of the name we carry as Christians.
Things don’t get better or worse accidentally; righteous people need to fight for things to get better, if we don’t, unrighteousness will fight for its place in all the areas of our lives.
Maybe we’re weary because we’re concerned with counting the blessings of others, instead of counting our own?
Let us remember our first love, and the gift of forgiveness.
Perhaps you are weary because you’ve placed your trust in the wrong things.
Only God can wholly satisfy us, even in the middle of the challenges we face.
God wants you to trust Him because it is good for you!
Just like our bodies need food, our souls need the word of God. Perhaps we are weary because we are hungry.
We encounter the God of the Bible in the Bible.
Perhaps one of the lessons we need to learn about how God makes a way, is not to avoid difficulty, but to embrace that in the difficulty God will reveal Himself.
