If you hear of my death, make dua for me. Ask Allah to forgive me, have mercy upon me and protect me from the torments of the grave. Ask Him to grant me Jannahtul firdaus. Give in charity on my behalf and forgive me if I have ever wronged you intentionally or not

From: Anas Rabiu Rano
A friend of mine lost someone very close to her yesterday.
She told me they buried her the same day, according to Islamic rites.
When she came back, she couldn’t keep quiet…
She sat down and started telling me everything.
She said when they lowered her friend into the grave, nothing went with him.
Not even a pin.
She was placed on her right side, inside a narrow space… so tight, no extra inch.
My friend said as they covered her with planks and the first sand touched it, something hit her deeply.
She stood there watching…
Sand after sand…
The grave getting darker…
Yet her friend did not move.
Did not speak.
Did not complain.
“That was when it dawned on me,” she said,
“That this is truly the end of this life.”
She told me his heart was heavy, but instead of crying, his mind was questioning everything.
“If this is how we all end,” she asked me,
“why are we chasing what we cannot take with us?”
“Why hurting people?”
“Why doing wrong just to make money?”
“Why living like this world is forever?”
Then she said something that I cannot forget:
“As we were leaving, they told us to dig another grave… to replace the one we just used.”
She paused… then looked at me and said,
“That grave is already waiting…
And the person that will enter it is somewhere on this earth right now — walking, laughing, planning… not knowing their place is ready.”
Since she told me this, I have not been the same.
Indeed… every soul shall taste death.
So before that moment comes,
return to your Creator.may Allah forgive all the departed Muslim and may we end well
