A test is only useful if somebody acts on the results.

268 students at Nilüfer Anadolu İmam Hatip Lisesi, Years 5 to 9, have completed the PQS English assessment. What the school received afterwards was not a list of scores but a report built to be used:

🔹 Skill profiles across Reading, Listening, Vocabulary and Use of English, so departments can see which area is holding students back
🔹 Class and cohort comparisons, with a clear note on which comparisons are valid and which are not
🔹 CEFR band placement for Year 9, based on total score, following the PQS Teens Placement guide
🔹 Borderline cases flagged for teacher confirmation rather than presented as final
🔹 Priority support areas identified only where the difference between skills exceeds the measurement threshold
That last point matters. A difference of two or three points between skills is measurement noise, not a teaching priority. Reporting it as one wastes a term.
