A Northern Nobleman making a telephone call in Kano in 1937. After Alexander Graham Bell invented the telephone in 1876, it did not take long for it to spread around the globe. The first telephone in the area, now known as Nigeria, was installed in Lagos in 1886. By 1893, telephones were a common feature in almost all colonial offices in Lagos.

Colonel Yakubu Pam , Adjunct-general of the Nigerian Military was kidnapped in his house, in the presence of his wife and kids…. He was arrested by Major Chukwuka and Lt Godwin Onyefuru…. Both are Igbos

Captain Emmanuel Nwobosi, commanding officer, field artillery battery, Abeokuta mobilized troops to Ibadan, had Fani Kayode kidnapped, Led the invasion of the then premier Akintola’s house and murdered him cold blood….. Nwobosi is Igbo.

Timothy Onwatuegwu led an invasion into Brigadier Ademulegun’s house…. Ademulegun was the second most senior man in the military and commanding officer of the 1 brigade Nigerian army at Kaduna…….. Ademulegun was murdered cold blood in his bed at night while his panicked kids heard the gunshots that killed their father from their rooms. His 7 months pregnant wife was murdered with her unborn child by his side…. Onwatuegwu is Igbo.

Kaduna Nzeogwu led an invasion into the residence of the Sadaurna…. Fired the shot that killed him and one of his wives… gunned down security details at the Sadaurna’s residence who tried to resist….. Nzeogwu is Anioma Igbo….

Nzeogwu and Timothy Onwatuegwu both led an invasion into the residence of Colonel Ralph Sodeinde…. Deputy commander of the Nigeria military Training college in Kaduna…. Onwatuegwu shot his wife in the legs with irritation as she pleaded for the life of her husband… both soldiers murdered Shodeinde cold blood on his bed…. Both are Igbos

Major Chris Anuforo led the invasion into he house of Colonel Kur Mohammed… Chief of Staff, army headquarters.. He had him tied, driven in the cold dressed lightly…. Made him kneel to say his last prayers and rained bullets on him as he prayed…. He also fired the shots that killed Yakubu Pam who had earlier been arrested by Major Chukwuka…. This same trigger happy savage killed Okotie Eboh…. Anuforo is Igbo….

Brigadier Zakariya Maimalari. Commander of the 2 brigade, Lagos, lived on Thompson street, Ikoyi. Major Donatus Okafor laid a siege on his house same night of his wedding…. Maimalari hid his wife in the servants quarters, scaled the fence of his house from the back and started running in his pajamas bare feet towards the barracks…. Donatus Okafor is Igbo

As Maimalari ran towards a barracks, he was intercepted by Ifeajuna…. Ifeajuna fired his boss and killed him cold blood on the streets… the events put the prime minister who had also been kidnapped and held hostage in his car in panic… as he tried to escape into the night, he was shot and killed by Ifeajuna… Ifeajuna is Igbo.

This is how propaganda works… sons of Zik were the brains behind the planning of the coup…. They were the ones who went around killing people…. they decided who to kill and who to spare… when you look at the actions of people like Anuforo as well as Onwatweguwu.. you observe the unreserved hated in their hearts as they killed even pregnant women….

But today, they want to turn the savagery of their ancestors who went around murdering people at night into propaganda... They claim it is not an Igbo coup because of some tag along they brought in the game but made sure played no active role in the planning and logistics of the coup….

This is how propaganda woks…. It is no different from the Obidiot movement that failed…. Obidiot movement was an Igbo movement… planning and logistics was exclusive… but as usual, like the January coup, there were tagalongs like Rinu and Hundeyin…

Peter Was Not the First Pope

Many Christians are shocked when I tell them that neither Christ nor any of His twelve apostles were Christians. The religion that Christ practised while He was on Earth is Judaism. In Christ’s Day, Judaism was practised under different sects, some of which include Pharisees, Sadducees and Essenes. 

The name Christianity originates from Acts 11:26, and we do not even know who originated it. It is most likely to have been the town’s people of Antioch. 

Many blatant lies have been told to try to legitimise what came out and is still coming out of Rome in the name of Christianity.

One of those lies is the story that Peter was the first Pope.

There is absolutely no Scriptural, historical or physical evidence that Peter (whose real name was Cephas) ever even visited Rome. And even if he did, which is most unlikely, he could not have been a Pope or Bishop of Rome, because Rome was not even Christian in the lifetime of Peter. 

Rome was Christianised in 313 AD by Emperor Constantine’s Edict of Milan. Up until then, Christianity was fledgeling in Rome. 

In the lifetime of Peter, the sect of the Nazarenes was illegal in Rome, and the Roman Emperor had ordered all Jews to leave Rome. We see this in Acts 18:2:

“There he met a Jew named Aquila, a native of Pontus, who had recently come from Italy with his wife Priscilla, because Claudius had ordered all Jews to leave Rome. Paul went to see them.”

We know that Paul and Peter wrote each other or read each other’s letters because Scripture supports that in 2 Peter 3:16. Paul was physically in the capital of the Roman Empire, Rome, as a prisoner, who was allowed to live freely in his own rented house for two years (Acts 28:20), during the times it was claimed that Peter was in Rome. Yet, Paul never mentions Peter, or his presence in Rome, in his accounts of his time in the capital of Ancient Roman. 

Some people will say ‘how does this build faith?’ or ‘how does this edify (edify is a favourite word they like to bandy about)?’

But is faith that is built on lies still faith?

We Black Africans often hate to apply themselves. We love to say ‘I am confused’ at the slightest challenge to our belief system. 

But let our brother, or neighbour, or friend offend us, and we will apply our brains so astutely and strategically to plotting our revenge. Yet, we refuse to direct such focus to “work out your own salvation with fear and trembling.”-Philippians 2:12. 

Does it make sense to have abandoned your traditional religions only to adopt church traditions? Then why did we leave our African traditional religions?

The sect of the Nazarenes later came to accept Gentiles after first Peter and later Paul preached and Gentiles accepted their doctrine. 

However, here is the curious thing. The Peter, who some are falsely claiming was the first Pope, and in whose name they have promulgated all sorts of extra Scriptural practices, gave a judgment that Gentile believers, in addition to believing in Christ, were to keep only four practices:

“It is my judgment, therefore, that we should not make it difficult for the Gentiles who are turning to God. Instead we should write to them, telling them to abstain from food polluted by idols, from sexual immorality, from the meat of strangled animals and from blood. For the law of Moses has been preached in every city from the earliest times and is read in the synagogues on every Sabbath.”-Acts 15:19-21.

Notice that Peter gave a judgment that Gentiles should only abstain from food polluted by idols, from sexual immorality, from strangled meat and from blood. 

Why did Peter do this? Because he wanted to make it easy for Gentiles to turn to God. 

Now, ask yourself why those who have falsely appropriated his name have given you such a long list of dos and don’ts? Because they want to make it difficult for you to come to God. They want you to go through them.
