Just published in @molecology! 🐠🧬 Our study on Indo-Pacific fishes shows that dispersal shapes genetic diversity in a deep-sea fish along with species diversity. But the covariation of spatial patterns differ according to spatial and taxonomic scales!

New project I will be conducting on the #genetic diversity and structure of #angelshark populations in Corsica and the Canary Islands. With @stephmanel and Julie Deter (@umrMARBEC) at @cefemontpellier, in close collaboration with @angelshark2014
#populationgenetics
(1/7) It’s raining #eDNA!
Did you know that the diversity of #invertebrate species in the tree #canopy can be detected in rainwater? Let's take a look at this recent study by @TillMacher, @SchuetzRobin and colleagues.

(6/7) Through this pilot study, the authors show that even a small rainwater #eDNA sample can offer novel insight into the invertebrate #community of the #canopy!
Happening now! The #modeloCEFE seminar is starting at the @cefemontpellier. Talks will be led by various researchers in #ecology and #evolution modeling.
