In three days, when one villain falls, others rise to take their place.
When the SEGA Villains Stage DLC launches on April 3, Joe must rise to his greatest challenge yet, facing Majima, the Mad Dog of Shimano from the Yakuza/Like a Dragon; Dr. Eggman, the evil genius from the Sonic the Hedgehog series; and Death Adder, the ruthless giant from Golden Axe.
Vengeance spares no one. In this striking animation, Joe Musashi clashes with Lord Ruse in an epic ninja duel.
But where one villain falls, more rise. When the SEGA Villains Stage DLC arrives on April 3rd, Joe faces his greatest trial yet against Majima, Dr. Eggman, and Death Adder.

@yuzokoshiro@TeeLopes As an avid Shinobi fan and speedrunner, this is a fantastic addition to the Shinobi series. Thank you for always supporting the old IP’s and their revitalizations! Keep up the great work with your new game(s) as well! I look forward to playing them!
Shinobi Demo is pretty good. Expect the Shinobi speedrunners to come out in full for this one! Very fluid movement and speedtech! Can’t wait for this whole next month!
@DintheAbary I’m very much looking forward to this entry. I won’t have any criticisms until I actually play it. I’ve been playing the Shinobi series since 1994, been speedrunning a majority of the series since 2017. I just can’t wait to play another SHINOBI!
SHINOBI: Art of Vengeance emerges from the shadows on August 29, 2025!
Play as Joe Musashi in a new 2D action platformer that marks the return of the iconic SHINOBI franchise. Battle challenging enemies and epic bosses in a uniquely hand-drawn world.

@siljewolfe I read that thread and went “we reaching. Hard.” Lot of complexities in the series but they also shine with the whole “simple answer is usually best/right” it’s just all in your perception. Maybe their perception is that but idk it seemed like a lot of reaching.
