The question whether a State can be divided and reduced to UTs was raised before the Hon'ble Supreme Court, but the Court declined to decide that question on the ground that the Government had assured the Court that Statehood will be soon restored

How soon is 'soon'?

That sword -- power of the Government to break up a State into UTs -- still hangs over the States of India. And the important Constitutional question has not been decided by the SC

On every one of these counts, #NEET has failed. It has merely shifted the centre of learning from schools to coaching centres.

We had nauseating, disgusting levels of corruption in Tamil Nadu under the DMK. This is known to the entire Universe, not some grand secret.

It reached such Himalayan heights, their own Finance Minister, someone not corrupt who was caught up with the corrupt crowd, was complaining about it (sadly for him his remarks became public and he was demoted to became the IT Minister).

This is not about ideology.
Even the Marxists of Kerala, then allied with the DMK, would say how deeply corrupt the DMK was.

I have always appreciated people like Shri Balagopal, the former Finance Minister of Kerala, for his devoted public service. I am sure he and I will not agree on political philosophy or ideology but I deeply respect him.

If the DMK truly wants to introspect, they must start with their corruption.

Instead, they spend their time attacking a messenger like me as a TVK stooge or a Brahmin or a Sanghi and so on.

May be they can study Kural 423: focus on the message, even if the message comes from a "Brahmin Sanghi TVK stooge" like me:

When I landed in Chennai today, I felt this immense sense of happiness. I was going to meet our CM.
I’ve always felt that Vijay sir was never meant to be just a hero on screen. His energy, his presence, and the way people respond to him always felt like he was meant for something bigger.
What inspires me most is the courage it takes to step into a completely new arena. To leave behind what you have already mastered and take on a challenge where the stakes are so much higher. Not because it is easy, but because you believe you can make a difference.
I think all of us, at some point in our lives, are called to do more. To look beyond ourselves and ask how we can contribute. Very few people actually answer that call.
I have a feeling Vijay sir will surprise even the people who already believe in him. Not because of the position he holds, but because of the intent with which he approaches it.
Wishing him strength, wisdom and the courage to stay the course.
And for every young person watching, may this be a reminder that life can be so much bigger than the dream you started with.

திரைக்கலையின் ஒவ்வொரு நுணுக்கங்களையும் எனக்கு கற்பித்த பேராசான்; பெற்ற மகனைப்போல என் மீது பெரும் பாசம் காட்டிய அப்பா பாரதிராஜாவிடம் உதவி இயக்குநராக திரைக்கலை பயின்ற நாட்கள் ஒவ்வொன்றும் என் வாழ்வின் பொன்னாட்களாகும். பெரும்புகழ் பெற்ற ஏராளமான திரைக்கலைஞர்களை தமிழ்த்திரைக்கு தந்து வாழ்வளித்த மகாகலைஞனின் மறைவு கலைத்துறைக்கு ஏற்பட்ட ஈடுசெய்ய முடியாத பேரிழப்பாகும்.

திரைத்துறை மட்டுமின்றி என்னுடைய அரசியல் பயணம் வெற்றியடையவும் நாம் தமிழர் கட்சியின் மேடையேறி வாழ்த்திய பெருந்தகையின் மறைவு தனிப்பட்ட முறையில் என்னுள்ளத்தை மிகவும் பாதித்துள்ளது. இப்பெருந்துயரிலிருந்து மீள முடியாமல், என்னை நானே தேற்றிக்கொள்ள முடியாமல் தவிக்கின்றேன்!

அப்பா பாரதிராஜாவை இழந்து பெருந்துயருற்றுள்ள குடும்பத்தினருக்கும், திரைத்துறை நண்பர்களுக்கும், உலகெங்கும் பரவிவாழும் கோடிக்கணக்கான ரசிகர்களுக்கும் என்னுடைய ஆறுதலைத் தெரிவித்து, துயரினைப் பகிர்ந்துகொள்கிறேன்.
