@MinuteMaverick Hope had opened her eyes from the kiss when he parted, feeling a little flushed as she didn’t think he enjoyed it.
“Because you’re everything. You made me believe things I never wanted to. You changed my perspective. No one else can do that.”
@MinuteMaverick Hope shook her head and chuckled, letting go of his shoulder to grab a handful of his shirt in her hand, and pulling him towards her.
She leaned up slightly, pressing her lips to his, ever so tenderly.
@MinuteMaverick “I really doubt that. You’re a good guy, Scott. You try your hardest. That’s all that matters.”
Hope placed her free hand on his shoulder, watching up into his eyes.
“I dunno...”
@MinuteMaverick “At least you’ve been married, you have Cassie..”
She shrugged.
“Yeah, I don’t know if a date is really my thing. I’m always pretty busy... Wait, me and /Darren/? God no!”
@MinuteMaverick “But I’ve never really... done what you do. I trained you and I know how it works, but I’ve never spent time on the field. At least, not yet.”
@MinuteMaverick “Seriously?”
Her eyes widened and she slowed down, turning to him.
“I mean... I’d love to. But do you really think I’m cut out to be an avenger?”
@MinuteMaverick Hope continued to hold his hand as she followed beside him down the hallway.
“This is all so interesting. You’re very lucky to be here, Scott. And I feel lucky to be able to see it all!”
@MinuteMaverick “Silly things like that are funny, Scott. I’m not gonna kick your ass over it.”
Hope shook her head, placing her hands on his arms, gently.
