@PierrePoilievre To help solve this problem you'll send billions to Ukraine and Israel while voting down Bill C-226, the National Framework for Food Price Transparency Act 🤡
In a shocking (but unsurprising) move, @CanadaFP@AnitaAnandMP@MarkJCarney@liberal_party misread the room and fundamental comprehension of conflict.
When diplomacy fails (e.g. when a state commits genocide,) you don’t keep dithering about peace. You sanction.
Hi Nikki Haley,
If the Israelis are “targeting Hezbollah,” why do they keep murdering medics, over 133 since March 2?
Why have they displaced over 1 million people? Do you think a fifth of the population of Lebanon, including all the children that are included in that number, are Hezbollah?
Why did they kill a Christian family over the weekend? Were they Hezbollah?
Is desecrating Virgin Mary statues “targeting Hezbollah”? Because they’ve done that.
They’ve also bombed churches and mosques and blown up entire villages. Is that targeting Hezbollah”?
The Israelis have destroyed 50,000 homes. Is that “targeting Hezbollah”?
The Israelis say Lebanese Shias can never return to their homes south of the Litani. They are carpet bombing Tyre and Nabatieh and their leaders openly declare they want to settle Lebanese land with Israeli Jews.
I know you support all of these criminal acts, Just correcting the record that none of this constitutes “targeting Hezbollah.”
Israel has been credibly accused of committing genocide, war crimes and ethnic cleansing. It has been ordered to cease by an international court. It is in violation of numerous treaties and UN resolutions.
When is Canada going to align our foreign policy and implement sanctions?
$1.8 million to foster “dialogue” with the murderers of Palestinian children.
$25 billion for Ukraine.
That, in a nutshell, is Canada’s commitment to peace and human rights.
🗣️ AJ Mubasher: “If Hezbollah’s weapons are removed, what guarantee is there that Israel will honor its commitments?”
🗣️ Lebanese Forces Party Vice President Nazih Matta: “I am confident that Israel will comply.”
🗣️ The interviewer pushes back: “It is astonishing that you place complete trust in Israel, which is killing Lebanese civilians every day and occupying Lebanese territory, while not having an ounce of trust in the segment of your own population represented by Hezbollah.”
🔸 BACKGROUND:
The Lebanese Forces (LF) is a right-wing, predominantly Maronite Christian political party that traces its roots to the Christian militia of the same name, one of the principal armed factions during Lebanon’s 1975–1990 civil war.
Led today by Samir Geagea, it is the largest Christian party in Lebanon’s parliament, holding 19 seats, and one of the country’s most influential political forces. It is a leading opponent of Hezbollah and its allies - Hezbollah and the Amal Movement each hold 15 seats in the 128-member legislature.
The LF remains a deeply controversial force in Lebanese politics because of its wartime role. The original militia has been linked to a number of atrocities committed during the civil war, including the 1982 Sabra and Shatila massacre. Today the party favors close ties with the United States and Gulf Arab states while advocating for the disarmament of Hezbollah.
🇦🇱 Albania’s “Flamingo Revolution” escalated Thursday, with protests against the roughly €5 billion luxury Jared Kushner and Ivanka Trump backed resort expanding into demands for the entire political establishment to step aside, Bloomberg reported.
Now in their second week, the nightly demonstrations have drawn thousands to a central Tirana square and down the main boulevard to Prime Minister Edi Rama’s office. Protesters have carried national flags, homemade banners, and inflatable flamingos, chanting “Albania is not for sale.”
The resort is planned near a protected wetland by the southern coastal village of Zvernec, a migratory habitat for flamingos, seals, and sea turtle nesting sites. Demonstrations erupted there on May 30 after bulldozers moved onto the site, and spread to the capital two days later.

This token gesture of sanctioning just two individuals is nothing but a deception: a performative slap on the wrist designed to mask utter inaction.
If you had any genuine backbone, you would sanction Israel itself by immediately severing all diplomatic ties and scrapping the free trade agreement entirely. Anything less is an insult not only to every victim of this genocidal apartheid regime but also to the intelligence of Canadians
Most American Christians have no idea what is happening around the world.
Especially these atrocities.
Many of them think this is lies, sadly.
And others are silent.
This President @realDonaldTrump@POTUS is not capable of doing any “Deal” - that’s why his record thus far is 100% failure on every major front. Besides the fact he & his entire firm are clueless, he simply can’t. Because he’s an Israeli stooge. One of history’s losers….
Iran’s terms to end the war:
1. Give Iran its own money back
2. Tell Israel to stop attacking Lebanon (and mean it)
Some rather extreme demands there, no wonder Trump can’t find a way to a deal.
