We wake up each day with an opportunity—not just to succeed, but to make a difference in someone else's life. Be the encouragement someone needs. Be the kindness someone remembers. Be the reason someone believes again.
Your greatest blessing may be the blessing you become to someone else

Grade inflation doesn't help students. A high grade in math class should mean the student learned the math.
If a student gets a high grade but didn't earn it, it may feel good in the moment, but it shows up in the next course when the math gets harder. And that may not feel good at all.
Math is hierarchical & the gaps don't go away on their own. They just compound and make later math extremely difficult.

Using social media in middle school predicts lower standardized test scores in high school.
10th graders who started social media before 9th grade are ~6 months behind their peers on math & reading. They're more distracted by their phones.
No child should have access to social media.
Every adult can list the classes they don't remember a single lesson from, and then name one teacher they'll never forget, for reasons that have nothing to do with the curriculum.
Education is the material. A teacher is what makes a kid feel like the material was worth showing up for. The same worksheet, the same textbook, the same standard, lands completely differently depending on who's handing it out.
What teacher have you never forgotten, and why?
Students don’t usually come back because of one perfect lesson. They come back because something about the room feels predictable: an adult says their name, notices the shift, stays steady when the day gets messy, and gives them a clean start.
That matters.
Not because teachers can fix everything, but because consistency can make school feel possible for a student who was close to giving up on it.
