I don’t know if I was too brutal but hear me out…

There was a time my synced contacts were on on Twitter and someone I knew followed me. I went to WhatsApp to confirm if it was actually him and he said yes.

I told him to unfollow me because I honestly prefer people i don't know to follow me on Twitter. Twitter is just like my little secret space, my safe space where I can be myself without people I know watching everything I post.

After that, I turned off my synced contacts. Then last week, he messaged me saying he was still getting notifications from my account and had followed me again.😭

I told him to unfollow me and block me this time. He just said “okay” 😂

Now I’m wondering if I was actually too brutal with my words, because I genuinely didn’t mean it in a bad way. I just really value having Twitter as my own little space.
