So yes, I came to We4Us to Compere but somewhere along the line, the microphone became more than a microphone as I left with a bigger assignment.

THE WE4US SUMMIT SERIES
SERIES 2 β I Didn't Come Here to Be a Project Manager.
I didn't come to the We4Us Summit to become a Project Manager.
I came to hold the microphone, do my job, deliver excellently and go home.
The story actually started a day after I was recommended.

I didn't walk into that summit asking to be Project Manager.
I simply showed up, paid attention, contributed and gave my best and then, responsibility found me.
People don't only remember what you achieved.
They remember whether you made them feel seen and valued.
You can be highly competent and still be a terrible leader if everyone around you feels insignificant.
Never let achievements make you forget people.
Cheers! β¨β¨β¨

I was given a room, and I gave it everything I had but here's the interesting partβ¦
I came in as a Compere and left with something bigger.
Watch out for Series 2.

SERIES 1 β I came to Compere. π€
When I got the call to anchor the We4Us Summit, I knew it was an opportunity I couldn't take lightly.
I had been recommended to the Convener by the Attorney General, Student Union, Uniuyo, Comr. Itoro Gabriel and that alone meant a lottt to me.

So every time I get to hold the microphone, I don't take it for granted.
I gave it my allllllllll to ensure the event itself was a success.
I know the responsibility that comes with being given a voice in a room and this time, I wasn't just given a microphone.
