Every single parent will now be holding their kid back a year and starting their college clock at 19 instead of 17 or 18 because of this rule. So essentially, if you don’t hold your kid back , he’ll be competing against guys who did. Either way, the new norm will be freshmen being the avg age of 19 now. I was 19 going into my JR year at USC 😵‍💫😭
