@NoContextHumans I wouldn’t expect anyone to give a seat up for me just because I’m a woman. Just like I wouldn’t give a seat up for a man just because he’s a man. Elderly, pregnant woman and the disabled, yes! Just because you’re a woman, no!
@WhatWouldLibsDo@ExcusedEarly@OliLondonTV Simple answer to that is no! Spraying champagne up a woman’s skirt like that massively oversteps a boundary and takes it too far. I’m sure that wasn’t in her initial job description. Victim shaming at its finest here
@DrJessTaylor@Jaimi_Shrive People constantly scrutinise women’s bodies and I’m so sick and tired of it. Too tall, too short, too skinny, too fat, too whatever. The messages you’re putting out there are so powerful yet all some people can do is comment on your personal life and appearance. It’s ridiculous
I’d love to see girls taught from an early age that they don’t have to be mums, they don’t need to have children, their sole purpose isn’t to get married to a man, stay home & raise kids, and that there is so much more to life than inevitably becoming mums.
Beautiful afternoon spent at the top of Calton Hill soaking up the views of #Edinburgh. A perfect way to enjoy some alone time and clear the mind. #simplepleasures#grateful#Wellbeing
@DrJessTaylor Wow, I was already massively in awe of your work and what you stand for but reading about what you went through to achieve this takes it to a whole new level. Unfortunately, some people hate it when others achieve success and it always brings out the jealously/spite in them.
