The Planning Commission will hold a public hearing on Thurs., Jan. 26 at 1:30 p.m. to decide on a zoning change for a parcel of land located at 5380 and 5354 Athens-Boonesboro Road, located near the I-75 junction.
The mayor and city officials recently cut the ribbon on new affordable housing complex in the Hamburg neighborhood. The Polo Club Park Apartments features 24 units designed for senior citizens 55 and older.
The city is incentivizing infill and redevelopment with a new grant program called the Infrastructure Fund. 🏙️
The grant encourages developers to utilize land inside the Urban Service Boundary by offering them a 0% interest loan of up to $500,000.
