The author attempts to tell a story about a bad person getting better but I don't think they executed it well.

@BlueMnt_ @Shivermetmbrr It is carried by phenomenal animation & world building but held back by the MC's sexual deviancy. His perversion takes away more from the show than it contributes.

While the MC does get measurably better about his behavior, it happens too slowly & doesn't go far enough.

@Nutsackdealer @AsToldBySandy The original Hunter x Hunter anime was being made when the manga was fresh. Only 45 chapters were published before they started production. They got a lot of unestablished details wrong such as color schemes and designs.

They didn't even know if Kurapika was a man or woman yet.

@Sarahjdublin Men experience hardships, but none of them are due to systemic issues put in place by women. A hyper-massive-majority of issues men face are because of other men or systems upheld by those in power.

I can't think of a single issue in my life that women as a whole are to blame.

@spuki__ Any card that "Can't be countered" can just ignore ward costs since ward tries to counter the spell if they don't pay the ward cost. If the spell can't be countered, the cost can just be ignored.

Creatures like Hexing Squelcher make all your spells unable to be countered.

@CeraGibson Girls also have way better character customization options in video games by a lot and it's not even close. Even in games without a character creator women get better "skins" in those.

Just look at Invisible Woman in Marvel Rivals compared to her husband Mr. Fantastic.

@0UTR0EG0 Out of curiosity I ran it through a software to count the unique hex ids and there are 59 unique colors but some of those might be artifacts from compression. I had a feeling there were more than what I counted though.

@0UTR0EG0 46. If you zoom in there are a lot more visible as you can see lines where the color changes. There is probably more but 46 was all I could distinguish. Some of the colors are very close to being the same but are just barely different.

@DeltyThe73rd Rough around the edges animation wise but the world building and characters carried the show past that. It wasn't the best show this season of anime but it was far from the worst. Very watchable.
