I feel like there’s a coordinated effort in crypto to not talk about the underlying technology. Not sure why this is.

I’ve seen viral posts this week:
1, #BTC users being charged days worth of pay to transact (@MarceMR19) .
2, NFT minting fees @jwpark02 (it’s okay— Algorand was omitted 😅).
3, Countless threads on rising #Ethereum gas (mostly caused by a meme token) which makes adoption impossible in #ETH’s current form.

If we’ve already accepted that the future is multi-chain, why don’t we use better tech? Lots of GAS ⛽️ complaints from Ethereum users… If we don’t like it, we do something about it… right? Just can’t keep on complaining that so many blockchains are unusable.

It turns out, $pepe degens did decide to take action. They bridged #pepe from #ERC20 to #Algorand ASA via @MessinaOne. This instantly turned the Pepe token into something inclusive, as now you can even utilize fractions of tokens without paying $100 in gas.

9. @algo_explorer and @algoscanapp track on-chain transactions… 126,000+ and almost 2k holders on @Algorand in less than a week.
10. @ShepNFTs airdropped 1 million $pepe to all holders of SHEP.
11. What comes next? Anything you dream of— Algorand works.

This is not about $pepe token @pepecoineth or @Matt_Furie. This is much bigger than them. Imagine more real assets and real use cases coming over from Ethereum to Algorand. Let @Algorand free your project and give it wings. Let’s focus more on technology and how blockchain can make things easier (not more difficult).
