@henrywinter Point of order Henry. When Bielsa sent someone to look at Lampard's training masterclass he wasn't breaking any rule, hence no offence committed. Friends of Frank in the media got over excited and the league fined him for doing nothing wrong according to their rules.
@VinnyP_MOT He's done an excellent job and has conducted himself well. All reflected in this group of players. I have my doubts as to whether he can step up a level.
But let's be honest, Belsay is above him. The top two post The Don are Wilko and Bielsa.
@LUFCMOTcom Gordon McQueen was a genuine shock, 2 months after Joe Jordan. Tony Currie, my hero. "Tony Tony, shoot your wife" as he came towards the Kop, and he laughed, carried on clapping the fans
@LUFCHistory My favourite non Don Revie player. Such passing & charisma, clapping the Kop when he came to take corners. He even laughed when the Kop sang Tony Tony shoot your wife. The club & team were starting to fall apart but those years with him were just great for me.
@TheLeedsPress What on earth were Plymouth thinking of by appointing him. They're spending money they can ill afford on a guy who's done nothing good at previous jobs. He shows no respect to fans who travel miles by refusing to come out and play.
@BarneyLUFC21 Had same thought, but Ipswich were a much better side than what I've seen of Sunderland, plus Burnley ain't great. We're 3 off the top and it really is in our hands this season.
@DanielFarkeBall No. For heaven's asked we're not playing Real Madrid. Look at our side compared to theirs. How many of their players would you take ? They didn't walk back from Norwich, travelled there & back in luxury. Having said that, this is a test for Farke.
@BattsLUFC Don't over estimate Sunderland. We should be going there to win, irrespective of injuries. A draw is only good if other teams up there lose.
@Joseph_Boam A proper chance, to do what exactly ? She's an idiot and if her PMship wasn't enough to convince sane minds, then her behaviour since should do.
@LUFCMOTcom On the plus - had great European trips. Has to take his share of the blame for the club's downfall. Replacing Eddie with the clueless Kidd, a clear sign of his arrogance. That book, a sign of stupidity. Met him once on the Prague trip, very cold which shocked me.
@footballmemorys Though he played in every position, it belittles him to call him a 'utility player'. He was elegant, strong and never out of place in any role. A truly great player.
@TazkerV2 Would find it hilarious if they went down, and that spanking new stadium to fill andoay for. Their fans should get over themselves, isn't it better to win games rather than all this angst about staying up year after year
?
@TazkerV2 May sound glib but there's lots of free stuff to do out there, and make the paid stuff more special. Just don't go and don't buy. We do get ripped off in this country, always have, and the only answer I have is not to take part and you can still have a good time.
@El_Loco_Jo Add "can I get". No you can't, ask politely and then I might consider it. Also, "Hi Both" when emailing two people. What's wrong with using our names ? For the sake of losing a couple of seconds out of your life. FfS, drives me bonkers.
