FURTHER-FC results regarding ionomer mobility were presented in the ISE meeting. Great to present our results and to discuss developments in fuel cell research.
Within the framework of FURTHER-FC, DLR currently investigates PEMFC electrodes with different platinum loadings, ionomer contents, carbon supports and ionomer materials in order to identify their impact on transport mechanisms.
FURTHER-FC will give presentations at 244th ECS Meeting in Gothenburg. Thomas Jahnke: A Multiscale Modeling Approach to Identify and Quantify the Transport Limitations in PEMFC and by Arnaud Morin: Structure, Ionomer and Water Distribution in Catalyst Layer of PEMFC
FURTHER-FC was pleased to present at FDFC in Ulm. Jens Mitzel presented the "Impact of cell degradation in a PEMFC", Konrad Gülicher presented " ORR at Platinum Surface and Gas Diffusion in Pore Space and Ionomer" and Tobias Morawietz had a poster presentation about AFM of HOPI.
Insights into the effective diffusion properties of MPL+GDL in PEMFC are discovered in our latest #FURTHER-FC publication.
