Kindergartners @PoplarTreeES practice how to be #communicators by using technology to find and share ideas and speaking clearly so others can understand as they shared what non-fiction facts they learned on Pebble Go! #FCPSpogpol
Loved the time we had today to reconnect with our POG POL cohort. We started by thinking about one great thing that has happened on our journey so far. Amazing hearing how students of all grade levels are using learned language to recognize use of POG skills.
Spotted ๐ these students adding a paper to their portfolio. They were so excited to tell the class about how they persevered through this challenging task & why that helped them! #fcpsPOGPOL
Our classroom might be a mess, but our ladybug exhibits are starting to come together! These #collaborators are working on sharing their ideas with each other to make sure their exhibits are realistic and informative! ๐ @PoplarTreeES#fcpsPOGPOL
How can we, as authors, use technology to share our unique thoughts, ideas, & feelings? Our G2 students practiced their Communicator skills as they generated their word collections, drafts, Wixie book pages, & POG POL reflections. #PBLinFCPS#fcpsPOGPOL
Thank you @JeffLonnett for getting our @PoplarTreeES teachers excited about deepening their implementation of @FcpsPOGPOL into their day to day instruction! You inspired us all to continue to grow, prove it, and understand why it matters! ๐โค๏ธ #UniquelyYOU#YouCanCountOnUs
How do each of these (content, SDGs, POG) connect to and support the Global Classroom Project? Some common themes emerged. #meaningful#globalcitizens@FcpsPOGPOL
Loved having @JeffLonnett@PoplarTreeES this morning to check out the amazing work we have going on in our room and how we are incorporating #POG into our work and discussions! Thanks for coming by! @FcpsPOGPOL@FCPSR5@fcpsnews

We generated our looks like, sounds like, and feels like anchor chart this morning! Then, we put it to practice when creating our mind maps for our first unit stories! We have been busy! @FcpsPOGPOL
When you walk by the mail room and overhear two teachers sharing ideas about how they are getting their kinder and first grade students reflecting on their POG skills ๐๐ What a way to start a Friday!!
Thank you @JeffLonnett for spending two days with our teachers revising & refining their PBL units. Our students have some great meaningful learning opportunities to learn core content & practice POG skills coming their way! #PBLinFCPS#FCPSPOGPOL
