@NuttaGt @Phantasmerie I guess you could cheat a bit by lighting the model and baking the AO into the albedo texture but it's still gonna need touchups depending on the style and yeah you have to settle on a light source early on

@arnau_alegre it sorta look like an earlier form/shorter Fang Bian Chan or monk spade? but it lacks the flared end so i'm not sure..

@adc_bx High poly are such a hassle to unwrap especially sculpted. I don't think I ever textured something hi poly before baking it
I kinda always did it the substance way low poly uv -> bake high to low -> texture using info from normal/thickness/curvature and painting etc

Like they tried to wrap it in chain further to no avail and it pulled itself free along with the pole and chain
