Texts @FastestInDenver;

- SOS

- [Location]

- Bad reaction to medication

- Can't feel/move legs

[Izidora ❝Izzy❞ Obsidian 『Evarcha』 @FealtyOfHeart]

Yay! What would Jaelynn like to start with? Snacks or the drinks? While Izzy braids, of course.

[𝐆𝐑𝐄𝐘. @speedwithin]

. . . sure.

[Izidora ❝Izzy❞ Obsidian 『Evarcha』 @FealtyOfHeart]

@spunaide Sort of! But, she's more like a sidekick. Tried the whole main force thing... prefers to be support and strategy or Intel, undercover... that kind of stuff. Izzy is good at blending in.

[Izidora ❝Izzy❞ Obsidian 『Evarcha』 @FealtyOfHeart]

@speedwithin ⠀Without losing too much of her composure, Izzy offered a reassuring smile after wishing the crimson from her face.

⠀⠀❝Sorry about that, my body keeps mutating to neutralize my meds... Looks like my immune system can't tell the difference between poison and Medicine.❞

⠀⠀

Now she's coughing up the blood.

Very mild panic.

Not this again.

[Izidora ❝Izzy❞ Obsidian 『Evarcha』 @FealtyOfHeart]

⠀She was trying to focus on him despite her dizziness from hyperventilating.

⠀⠀❝I can't... I can't breathe... I ca... I...❞

⠀Within only a few moments, she fainted, a slow crimson stream beginning to flow from her nose.

[Dr. Evan Jackson | Velocity. @FastestInDenver]

"She disappea‐ Okay. Okay. Izzy. Look at me."

He'd set his hands on her shoulders.

"Deep breaths. In. Out. In. Out."

[Izidora ❝Izzy❞ Obsidian 『Evarcha』 @FealtyOfHeart]

| nooooooooo

[Izidora ❝Izzy❞ Obsidian 『Evarcha』 @FealtyOfHeart]

Uh oh... her nose is bleeding again. 3rd time today.

Off to the bathroom to clean up.

[Izidora ❝Izzy❞ Obsidian 『Evarcha』 @FealtyOfHeart]

Has finished painting the lovely father-daughter duo.

[Izidora ❝Izzy❞ Obsidian 『Evarcha』 @FealtyOfHeart]

She's been demoted from best friend to friend.

Where are the murder toys?

[Izidora ❝Izzy❞ Obsidian 『Evarcha』 @FealtyOfHeart]

⠀

⠀⠀❝Estelle, don't provoke Carol, please... and stop indirectly teasing Ms. Thurlow. Apologize.❞

⠀

⠀⠀❝Nonono, Evan, you don't understand.❞ she was clearly already having a breakdown, not because she couldn't remember, but because she just did. ❝She was right next to me in the cab to the airport, she just faded away into nothing, like she never existed- I- How-❞

⠀⠀

[Dr. Evan Jackson | Velocity. @FastestInDenver]

".... Hey. Don't stress. It'll come back to you. Take a few deep breaths."

⠀⠀❝Estelle. Calm down, I'm sure she didn't mean it like that.❞

⠀⠀

[Izidora ❝Izzy❞ Obsidian 『Evarcha』 @FealtyOfHeart]

⠀

⠀⠀❝How did I forget- abuelita took us both in, raised us like we were flesh and blood, I was so obsessed with her because she was so incredible... She was my first real role model. Even when abuelita died, I still had my sister... but I don't... know where... I...❞

⠀⠀

[Dr. Evan Jackson | Velocity. @FastestInDenver]

".... Yeah. I- I don't know what happened to your Sister. You never told me what happened. And I didn't want to press on the matter."

[Izidora ❝Izzy❞ Obsidian 『Evarcha』 @FealtyOfHeart]

⠀

⠀⠀❝Fun! Right... let's see, what was the fun part, was it when the only other spider in the group got covered in poison ivy? Or when your special snack bars for speedsters got eaten and choas occurred? Or when my sister got food poisoning...? Sister...? I had-...❞

⠀⠀

[Dr. Evan Jackson | Velocity. @FastestInDenver]

"I think we're a bit too old for camping trips now, Izzy. As fun as it was."

[Izidora ❝Izzy❞ Obsidian 『Evarcha』 @FealtyOfHeart]

Wilderness WHAT trips?!

[Izidora ❝Izzy❞ Obsidian 『Evarcha』 @FealtyOfHeart]

⠀

⠀⠀❝We will never group camping ever again... I don't care that it was senior year, or that everyone else wanted to go. Next time, just you and me, because that was the worst camping trip ever. The promise was the only good part.❞

⠀⠀She added with a grin.

[Dr. Evan Jackson | Velocity. @FastestInDenver]

The call back prompted a smile to spread upon his lips. It was good that she remembered.

"Through thick and thin, hell or an ice fortress."

[Izidora ❝Izzy❞ Obsidian 『Evarcha』 @FealtyOfHeart]

⠀

⠀⠀❝Sure I am! When you stumble and need someone to catch you, I'll have your back. Always. Through thick and thin, hell or an ice fortress, right?❞

⠀⠀ that recited promise they made years ago was the last memory she could recall before the lapses started.

[Dr. Evan Jackson | Velocity. @FastestInDenver]

"Pfff, we both know you aren't fast enough to get mine first."

He'd remark with a laugh, gently nudging her shoulder with his fist.
