@Hostile_Ute At my medical school as students we were called “young doctor”from the moment we set foot on campus. I’m not sure if this is a display of “unwarranted confidence”. Rather an eager medical student. That’s all.
@MyFabFinance A lot of this inflation is due to the third party entities like insurance companies as well. Having a middle man always increases the end cost.
@MyFabFinance Yea it’s crazy how much healthcare costs nowadays and the fact that it’s still rising. Not sure if you received an itemized copy of the cost breakdown, but I do wish all patients received this and reviewed how costs are allocated.
@whereinmyworld And I won’t even get into have young adults with minimal (in fact basement level) financial education sign their lives away on promissory notes. This is definitely taking advantage of a vulnerable population. So much to unpack there.
@whereinmyworld I totally agree with the social injustice you mention and it pains me that just because someone was able to write a check or have their parents write a check for their tuition they have difficulty empathizing with others from different backgrounds.
@whereinmyworld I went into medicine to actually broaden my and my families options, but this crippling debt actually threatens to substantially narrow those options available.
Is it me or is everyone always in a hurry?
In a hurry to get to work.
In a hurry to make money or get that six figure salary.
In a hurry to buy a car.
In a hurry to buy a house.
In a hurry to get… https://t.co/bsyQCuarB7
