Many birds are beginning to build their nests🥚 You can help birds find material for nesting by:
🍂🌾🥀 Leaving yard waste untouched for a few more weeks
🗑Picking up litter, especially stringy materials
🚫 Please DO NOT provide yarn, pet fur, ribbons or human hair
“Oh No, lots of rain today !” This is me, thinking…Cardinals do not seem to mind much about the rain. They would continue to look as stunning, no matter the weather. #birdwatching#birdsphotography#naturephotography
#DidYouKnow Piping Plovers lay their eggs directly on the sand. This nest is a great example of one that's well camouflaged by dried driftwood and rocky cobble...almost impossible to see! All Ontario nests are protected with a fenced buffer zone.

Our smallest falcon, the American Kestrel is commonly seen perched on roadside wires, or hovering above grasslands on rapidly beating wings, waiting to pounce on a grasshopper. Conservation ranching directly supports habitat for this dynamic falcon. Photo: Kristen Mauzy/APA
