@RealityPatty Haven't seen Joker, but The Irishman surprised me. His themes tackling aging, friendship, and family are mature and touching. It's essential to his catalog, IMO. The deaging gets a lot of press, but he quietly shot the film as an anti-Goodfellas with a cast that truly shows up!
