If Elliot Page were a man, “he” would expect to be mocked by men for saying something dumb online. His best friends might pull his briefs over his head or put him on a plane to Jakarta drunk or tattoo a bunghole on his forehead while sleeping — but a “trans person” doesn’t want this acceptance, but silence. Why?
can we be honest for a second? stanning wemby is bordering on ableism, like we’re sitting here praising a dude for being born 7’5 with an 8 foot wingspan this is basically the basketball equivalent of stanning a billionaire
there’s nothing ethical about this.
It's the only place in the greater New Orleans area I might find myself where every single person, employee or customer, looks like they have been on a mission trip or worked as a sheriff's deputy. Absolutely rancid vibes.
@capybaroness I did chuckle when they cut to his white cat in the middle of the line like it was a big drum roll, like why would Bond possibly care about any of that
Come on man, that doesn't mean we're not allowed to say that what it means to him seems like it might be bland, too literal, and uninspired given this most recent trailer
The trailer also seems incredibly unrepresentative of what the movie itself might be, cutting to action beats and big dialogue lines, I'm reminded of the 12 years of slave trailer that made it seem like rousing inspirational Oscar bait

I think some people are going to have to accept that the odyssey means something else to christopher nolan than it does to them and unfortunately he's the one with the 350 million dollar budget
Kenneth Branagh says he "always wanted" to do another "Thor" movie:
“Part of me would love to finish my relationship with that character. I'd always wanted to do more and indeed had a couple of ideas, more in the territory of James Mangold's brilliant 'Logan.' I would love to see Chris Hemsworth and the others have their own individual final story that takes 'Thor' into a glorious twilight.”

Haven't seen Michael, But Oppenheimer portrayed his legacy in a subjective way showing images of charred bodies. Something tells me in the Michael movie doesn't show molested kids
It’s weird to critique Oppenheimer for not showing the Atomic bombs being dropped and then be like “eh, it’s fine that the movie ends before the allegations” as though that WASN’T a choice. Shows how some people can be selective in their critiques.
