Winter safety reminders:
• Keep gas meters and appliance vents clear of snow and ice.
• Use a broom or brush to gently clear snow. Avoid using sharp tools.
• Do not pile or plow snow near gas meters or exhaust vents.
• Ensure carbon monoxide detectors are working properly.
• Keep generators and supplemental heaters outdoors.
• Replace or clean furnace filters regularly.
• If you notice ice you cannot safely remove, call 1-866-763-5427 for assistance.
