Last day of Pride Month. I wish to say that being LGBTQ+ in 2023 is easier than before, but it really has not been.

Since coming out privately to friends and family eight years ago, I was in a time and place where things were on the up and just starting to get better.

@milespowers56 @daevgg Agree, but I still don't think split apps would help, I think when the music wars die down and everyone's picked an app we'll see them raising prices, hopefully artists get a cut too. (However artists need to unionize to leverage their influence but they're too atomized to do it)

@milespowers56 @daevgg The industry can't survive at the prices it used to be . People aren't willing to buy a disc every album, the reality is that streaming at these prices is here to stay. Artists can do a paid album release a month before the drop, then full release. One way to monetize better.

@milespowers56 @daevgg There's this loose law of making an app that goes something like "don't charge the user for something that that used to be free", basically don't paywall features they have. Imo the general crowd wouldn't be willing to go back to that era, and the 90% control the market.
