Taylor Heise changing her name on her jersey to Fox for her husband just makes me so sad. Like, he didn’t put in all that work to get to the pwhl and be a top hockey player, she did.
@SavageDipoto I just don’t think fans showing up has anything to do with Dipoto keeping his job. He clearly explains his vision in a way ownership finds appealing (he doesn’t have to spend would be the main point I’d assume lol) so being annoyed at fans for going to a game is off to me
Gate revenue has no impact on whether or not the team spends. Plus people buy tickets far in advance, the cubs have a national fanbase and seeing the top rated MLB pitching prospect can’t be placed in the same realm as a jimothy night or whatever.
Three straight sellouts for a team that had World Series aspirations and is currently 7 games under .500 on August 22nd? Yeah, nothing's ever going to change around here 🥀🥀🥀
Her point is there is nowhere in the world where men are oppressed for being men. Where their rights are in question for being men. Thats true. That doesn’t mean there aren’t men oppressed for their ethnicity, sexual orientation etc. It just means it’s never because they’re men.
@HaidaZach Most folks can only choose between the two games and obvs gonna choose the aces on Sunday. No engagement with local media. Team on a disastrous losing streak until tonight with no real draw for either team im not that surprised. Was stil loud in there tonight.
When a columnist is muted by a newspaper, the paper of record for the region, we have reached a dangerous place. The fact that it has happened multiple times to Matt is even worse. More on this at Noon on @933KJR
@LanaMaoRey Definitely agree and there’s the added component that so many tru crime freaks that are so obsessed with creating a surveillance state under the guise of protections from violence that there’s no way it isn’t one of the biggest psy-ops in the 21st century.
It’s because a lot of people don’t recognize how women enable and perpetuate fascistic violence because they’re not often portrayed as the ones holding the gun. But live your life as poor and/or a racialized male and it’s very obvious from multiple angles very early on.
