The Federation exists to amplify members' voices. Have a look at some highlights from our 3rd protest, Wednesday 17th August 2022, presented by our chair, @MurphyDunne
In the last hour since I finished work I’ve had 7 phone calls from frantic parents looking for a place for ‘23 as another local service will close its doors. I can accommodate 2. Apparently I should expect 15 more phone calls. Yet @rodericogorman thinks closures aren’t happening
Seems to be a swell of new support for the FECP following yesterday's protest. Plans/logistics are underway for the next one. This was a much needed protest, a rejection of the spin we have seen from government. Everyone is welcome to join us on 25th! @MichealMartinTD @dcediy
We wont stop now. Parents are on our side. This can be solved if @rodericogorman would just talk to us and listen to our stories. Stop focussing on the bigger picture. We are here too 🙋♀️🙋♀️🙋♀️🙋♀️👋👋👋

Investment that leaves out smaller services who provide excellent quality #ECEC to our youngest citizens at a high quality need to receive #faircorefunding#UNCRC rights of the child.
Hundreds of services close impacting THOUSANDS of children and their parents. The time for action is now.... You can change this @rodericogorman all we ask for is a rise of 7 euro an hour per child. Aren't the children and their educators worth it???
Providers close their door to protest over a funding shortfall that impacts only a certain portion of services. If your child attends one of those services there is no guarantee they will be here in 2023 #faircorefunding for all. Access, inclusion, fairness for all
The Children’s Minister gets booed by early childcare providers, after he described this demonstration as “unwarranted”.
500 providers have shut today in protest of the new core funding model, which they believe benefits larger providers and leaves smaller ones losing out
Small ECCE & Childcare facilities are closing because @rodericogorman Core Funding plan is not sufficient to cover costs.
He talks about the sector as a whole but constantly ignores the fact that a particular cohort of these business are in crisis
