The fire incident confined to three shops was successfully extinguished. No casualties nor injuries sustained. Situation under control.

Our men responded and prevented a fire outbreak at about 07:55 Hrs yesterday, 30th April 2021 as a tanker filled with 45, 000 litres of PMS spilled its content Along Lagos-Ibadan Express Way ,Ibadan. Trans loading was equally supervised.

Our men responded to a fire incident at 12:03 Hrs today, 28th April 2021 at no 9, Zone A, New Town, Idi Osan Amuloko, Ibadan, Oyo State.
The fire incident which involved an Eight Room Bungalow well alight has been extinguished. No casualty records. Situation under control.

The CG and his entourage finally paid a courtesy visit to the Olubadan of Ibadan, his Imperial Majesty, Oba Saliu Akanmu Olasupo Adetunji at his palace. The Oba who highly appreciated the visit assured the CG of his relentless support for the service.

The next point of visit was the Federal Fire Service, Federal Secretariat, Ikolaba, Ibadan where he met with officers and men of the command. In his fatherly address , he stressed that everyone has something to contribute towards the progress of the service.

The CG and his entourage then proceeded to Oyo State Fire Service Headquarters where he was received by the Chief Fire Officer Mr Olushola Adewuyi. The CG stressed the importance of a collaborative effort between the Federal and State Fire Services in response to emergencies

Thereafter, he proceeded to Elewi Odo, Ibadan where he had a meeting with the Oyo State Market leaders Council. The council via their spokepersons appreciated the CG's compassionate visit and the good job FFS Oyo State Command has been doing since its establishment in the state
