The CG and his entourage finally paid a courtesy visit to the Olubadan of Ibadan, his Imperial Majesty, Oba Saliu Akanmu Olasupo Adetunji at his palace. The Oba who highly appreciated the visit assured the CG of his relentless support for the service.
The next point of visit was the Federal Fire Service, Federal Secretariat, Ikolaba, Ibadan where he met with officers and men of the command. In his fatherly address , he stressed that everyone has something to contribute towards the progress of the service.
The CG and his entourage then proceeded to Oyo State Fire Service Headquarters where he was received by the Chief Fire Officer Mr Olushola Adewuyi. The CG stressed the importance of a collaborative effort between the Federal and State Fire Services in response to emergencies
Thereafter, he proceeded to Elewi Odo, Ibadan where he had a meeting with the Oyo State Market leaders Council. The council via their spokepersons appreciated the CG's compassionate visit and the good job FFS Oyo State Command has been doing since its establishment in the state
