There are such things as “good misses”. Great points here. I’m also a believer that back rim is the easiest miss to adjust. Also being short on a shot- most times you never gave it a chance.
MAY LIVE PERIOD @HGSL_HoopGroup 2028 Spotlight 🚨 PT. 2
‘28’s Mamadou Kane and Drew Steals lead a LOADED Rize HGSL 16u team. Kane a 6’7 forward with a massive frame is a LEGIT HM prospect, holds a Duquesne offer. Steals is a 6’2 pure PG - efficient and excels at finding teammates & effective finding his own offense
‘28’s Tristan Shane and Yasin Rizvi pack a big punch for Florida MB HGSL. Playing up in 17u, Shane projects as a prototypical 4-man with plenty of tools and Rizvi is a floor general and aggressive playmaker in the open floor
Among many other talented ‘28’s @TheHoopGroup Spring Jam Fest this weekend

CANT MISS high-academic prospect will be with Florida MB HGSL @TheHoopGroup Spring Jam Fest May 15-17
Very well said! Brandon was a stranger to me when I was trying to make the jump to D1 as a player. He ended up being the main reason I started to gain traction in that realm. His agenda has always been to help young players achieve their dreams! @JUCOadvocate 👊🏻
A lot of back and forth lately on this app, and a lot of judgement without facts, but I want to celebrate a good friend…
Brandon Goble (@JUCOadvocate) has been a breath of fresh air in the basketball community since moving into the space over a decade ago.
I’ve been lucky enough to know him since the beginning, and there’s a few things that make him unique in our industry;
1) Players first. Brandon’s “hidden agenda” is always taking care of the players. Whether it’s running events, promoting players, or countless phone calls, it’s always been for the players.
2) His celebration of different cultures. Basketball unites people. It creates a unique family tree connected by the game. Brandon not only helps kids from all over the world (without asking for anything), but he also celebrates where they come from.
3) Lack of financial motivation. I remember back at Eastern Florida during one of the first JA48 events, Brandon was talking about how he needed 100+ coaches to buy a packet on Day 2 to NOT LOSE MONEY. Meanwhile, not a single player paid for food, lodging, or event. He could be making A LOT, but his morals and ethics mean more.
4) Unwavering support. This guy is always promoting, marketing, and helping people. He made an important call to Casper College before they offered me the job (without me asking to do so might I add). He does it for players, agents, coaches, and really anyone, as long as they are for the players and do things the right way.
5) Willingness to call out scams, fake schools, accounts, etc. Recruiting is stressful for 95%+ student-athletes. By using his platform, he has saved countless families heartache and money.
Sure most of you stopped reading, but I enjoy bragging and celebrating people who have always put the players first. Thankful to call you a friend, and our game is better because of you.

The Executive Order does not change college sports overnight because the President nor an EO can create new NCAA bylaws or federal law. This EO urges agencies to study the issues and encourages/demands Congress to act “quickly.” There is a political pressure tone to this order. But, until the NCAA, fed courts, or Congress legislate changes, the current NIL, transfer, and eligibility rules don’t change.
JUST IN: Peoria High has hired Ryan McElmurry as the new boys basketball coach.
“I’m just blessed to be able to be in a position to be in a spot to lead this program.”

College Coaches— this kid is a DOG and will be a program changer from Day 1. He wants to guard the other team’s best player and is a sniper from deep shooting over 44% in league play. Akani also led the league in MPG. #1 seed heading into the @siaa_fl Regional Division playoffs.
Great Team win. The Eagles beat Metamora and finish 3rd in a loaded Mid-Illini Conference. Thank you to all the students and fans who continue to support us! Back at it Thursday against a very good Peoria Manual team.
