Nothing like starting an assembly with a community-building sing-a-long! Today we focused on what it means to be part of the Clearmeadow community. What can WE do to ensure our school is a safe, inclusive and welcoming place to be?
October is #2SLQBTQ+ History Month. A time to reflect on and learn about 2SLGBTQ+ history, the history of gay rights and other related civil rights movements. By looking back, we can work to ensure the road ahead is free of obstacles and equal for all. #InspirePrideYRDSB

Ss develop portfolios to show learning they are most proud of, what they have improved in, what they feel they can improve in and how they reflect on their learning. Through this approach, I believe students become active agents in steering the ship of their own learning.
Thank you to everyone who engaged in learning for #TreatiesRecognitionWeek.
Let’s remember that treaties aren’t just something we should talk about once a year. They are ongoing agreements & need to be honoured accordingly. Stay tuned for more learning . #FNMIyrdsb
Project-based learning, promoting student activism, and highlighting positive news can all help students to feel more optimistic about the future.

@EVS_YRDSB Sharing looked a little different yesterday... Students made birthday cards and gifts to celebrate my birthday! 🎂🎉🎁
I provide feedback with text AND audio, so students who can't read yet can still independently access my feedback!
@YRDSB@EVS_YRDSB please look for a variety of supports including ‘inquiry pathways to creating relationships through creativity’ based in the 4 big ideas of the Arts curriculum on SharePoint and in the Arts Educators Google Classroom. #CRRP#GetOutdoors
Great opportunity for @LDCSB classes (online or f2f) for #TreatiesRecognitionWeek (first week in November). These speakers are experts on treaties in Canada. An incredible opportunity. Thank you @FNMIEAO and Dufferin Peel Catholic and @jodiesgot5 .
