Let me make something very clear from the beginning. I am dealing directly with your owner and your boss. Owners speak to owners. He has already contacted me, and I have already responded to him privately.

If you, or anyone else from Widzew, wishes to communicate officially with Pogoń Szczecin, you should contact my CEO, Tan Kesler, through the appropriate professional channels.

Know your role and position, understand the structure, and respect it.

However, since you chose to send me an insulting and disrespectful message directly, I will make an exception and respond to you directly. Do not confuse my willingness to answer you with permission to contact me again in this manner or to disrespect me, my management team, my club, our city, or our badge.

The fact that you chose to insult my club, question the competence of my management team, and predict Pogoń’s failure says far more about your character and professionalism than it does about mine.

Before questioning anyone else’s character, perhaps you should first examine your own record and consider how your decisions have been perceived by players, supporters, former colleagues, and the wider football community.

I owe no loyalty to Robert, to Widzew, to your supporters, or to anyone employed by your club. My loyalty is to Pogoń Szczecin, our supporters, our employees, our city, and our badge. I will always act in their best interests.

We did absolutely nothing wrong. We are competing clubs playing in the same league. Our responsibility is to compete, improve our team, and do everything legally and professionally possible to ensure that Pogoń becomes stronger. Clubs in the same league compete for the same players every day. It is normal, it is part of football, and it is part of the business.

There is no reason to behave like sore losers, complain endlessly, or react as though something outrageous has happened simply because a player chose another club.

Darko was a free player. He had not signed a contract with Widzew. We presented our project, he made his own decision, and we completed the transfer.

Why is there so much drama? Why so many sensational stories, public statements, and emotional posts? He is one player, and this was one unsuccessful transfer for Widzew. Your inability to demonstrate humility and accept a defeat or setback is honestly mind-boggling.

What exactly is the big deal?

Last week alone, Pogoń lost out on two transfers. You did not see me complaining publicly, attacking the other clubs, or asking them to reimburse us for airline tickets, medical examinations, accommodation, or other expenses incurred during negotiations. Failed transfers happen. Professional clubs accept them, learn from them, and move forward.

You are now betting publicly that Pogoń will fail. You want to compare where our clubs will be in two years? I accept that challenge without hesitation.

And please spare me the lecture about respect, loyalty, honour, and integrity.

Shortly before our Polish Cup match, Widzew’s management, including your sporting director, publicly discussed the club’s desire to sign Kamil Grosicki, despite the fact that he was under contract with Pogoń Szczecin. That created unnecessary chaos around our captain and our club, and the drama continued for months.

We did not send emotional or insulting messages. We did not question your honour or integrity. We did not publicly predict the failure of Widzew. We did not wish anything negative upon your club, your management, or your supporters.

You are entitled to be disappointed that Darko chose Pogoń. You are not entitled to insult my club, question my management team, disrespect our badge, attack our city, or speak to me in the manner you did.

Do not mistake professionalism for weakness. Do not mistake restraint for fear. Stop behaving like children who cannot accept losing a transfer, and do not ever disrespect Pogoń Szczecin in a message to me again.
