Last point: the FA has lots of good people doing important work but they are undermined by the archaic attitudes of decision makers like Greg Clarke. Similar attitudes in significant areas within the wider game is why English football, for all its talk, is still struggling.
This time 20 years ago I had just run a lap in one of the biggest Olympic finals in history .. 8pm 25/9/00 Womenโs 400m. Happy 25th September to all those in that special race, the 112,000 who witnessed it live & for all who watched & enjoyed Magic Monday #Sydney2000
What a final! @ThiemDomi you showed that dreams can come true when you believe in yourself and fight until the end! Tennis is tough and this match really deserved more than one champion! Congrats also to @AlexZverev and his team for this amazing tournament! Thanks @usopen โค๏ธNYC๐
We're all about "how sport makes us feel" and @LutaloMuhammad bought into that alright!
