Wanted to share some big news! Currently working on my next book in the Tales of Dureizen series!
It's called Luelle π¦ββ¬ and it's a poetic horror romance about the downfall of a hunter with heterochromia
Currently in the editing stages, but hoping to share more soon! π
@R1Publishing Thanks! It has multiple meanings too, such as struggling with negative emotions and situations to discover one's purpose, as well as being a play on the hierarchy that exists within this realm π Was definitely tricky coming up with something that encapsulates the entire story
@Lei_ACBII That is quite the difference! Congrats!
I think I tend to underwrite, because when I edit, I end up wanting to expand on more concepts and slow down the emotional moments more. I remove plenty, but somehow end up with a higher word count π
@_midori_me_ Lol not quite π It's an original, dark fantasy story with demons, tragedy, and a touch of romance. Follows the main character Phoenix as she attempts to find her purpose after the loss of her family and acquiring blood magic, which ultimately leads into a tale of revenge π¦ββ¬
@SoCal_Chemistry Definitely not. I went to college to study English--editing, creative writing, etc--with a mindset of learning everything I could to enhance my work. I'll remember the experiences forever, and it still helps to this day. Still, practice is what really helps after the foundation
Just finished remaking my original book, Fester. 300 hours and 2500 section changes later, it is finally complete!
The first book in The Shadow Blood Tale: A deeply emotional story of self-discovery and revenge. Demons, blood magic, and a touch of romance π
Coming August 31!
Just got back from seeing the new Resident Evil movie. Blown away π terrifying, gory, tense. Loved how realistic the main character was too. I'm even seeing it again tomorrow π
Met someone the other day who bought one of my books for their kid. I signed their name into it, which I don't normally do, but I wanted it to be special for them. Found out today that they threw it out without any explanation β οΈ Maybe it was too dark, but definitely a bit rude
@FawnPoet I've checked out a few! I didn't realize that he was still very active on Instagram until a few days ago. Still, I'm impressed with how much work he's putting into it all! Would love to see Epic as an actual theater perfomance one day too!
