unpopular opinion: the best startup founders of this decade won't come from tech.
they'll come from music, sports, and design.
vibe coding just removed the last barrier.
10 years ago i was uploading remixes from my bedroom in a small dutch town.
most of what i built failed. the things that worked taught me one thing: creatives are natural builders. we just didn't have the tools before.
now we do.
if you're thinking about starting something — just start.
built a new healify feature last night. ai meal suggestions based on your health profile.
the bottleneck isn't code anymore. it's knowing what problem to solve.
a decade of reading what people actually need — that's the real skill.
touring wrecks your body in ways nobody talks about.
sleep deprivation. bad food. loneliness. repeat for 200 days.
i needed a health app that understood my life. every app assumed i had a 9-to-5.
so i built one.
a year ago @karpathy tweeted about vibe coding and i thought he was talking about my studio sessions.
turns out he meant building software by talking to ai.
which is… also what i do now. shipped a full health app this way.
started a sustainability foundation in 2018 because i was touring 200 days a year and the hypocrisy was eating at me.
it's not perfect. we're still figuring it out.
but doing something imperfect beats doing nothing perfectly.
haven't been on here much. music was always instagram and spotify for me.
but somewhere between building a record label, a foundation, a saas startup (acquired), an investment fund, and an ai health app — i became a tech person.
guess it's time to talk about that side too.
